Muras/Brzezina Duo

For many years, Jakub Muras has been working together with the excellent accordionist Łukasz Brzezina.

In 2018, the ensemble was rewarded the Bank Societe Generale scholarship for their accomplishments, which allowed them to put out their record Cameral Stories. They render classical and modern pieces in their own adaptations, unveiling the wealth of sonorities and styles stemming from the merge of saxophone and accordion - two instruments that are a bit neglected in the realm of classical music.

Muras/Skowrońska Duo

The saxophone and piano are the most recognizable and frequent pairing of the saxophone with another instrument in classical literature.

Jakub Muras has been collaborating in this formation for many years, alongside his sister, the outstanding pianist Agata Skowrońska. The duo mainly performs chamber pieces that belong to the strict canon of saxophone and piano literature. The musicians also often reach for chamber pieces from the literature of other instruments, which they present to the audience in their own transcriptions and arrangements.
